Student hit on corner of Chestnut Street and Waldrop Drive
A Murray State freshman was struck by a car Wednesday night. At approximately 10:10 p.m. Raquell Verri, from Mayfield, Ky., crossed Chestnut Street in the crosswalk at Waldrop Drive when a car traveling east hit her.
