Former Racer football defensive end Adrian Dinkins was killed in a car accident late Tuesday evening in Ridgeland, Miss. Before Murray State, Dinkins played two seasons at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College before signing for the 2012 season at Murray State. A Murray State freshman was struck by a car Wednesday night. At approximately 10:10 p.m. Raquell Verri, from Mayfield, Ky., crossed Chestnut Street in the crosswalk at Waldrop Drive when a car traveling east hit her.
