Nov. 5

12:34 p.m. Officers conducted parking enforcement in the residential college and College Courts parking lots. Three citations were issued.

1:51 p.m. A person reported being stuck in the elevator in Blackburn Science Building. Officers and facilities management were notified and they were let off of the elevator.

Nov. 6

12:35 a.m. A caller reported a fight to Public Safety and Emergency Management at White Residential College. Officers were notified and a report was taken.

5:33 p.m. The smell of marijuana was reported at White Residential College. Officers were notified and a report was taken.

Nov. 7

1:09 a.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop at Bradley’s Bookstore on Chestnut Street. A verbal warning was given for disregarding a stop sign.

4:41 p.m. A caller reported a smoking complaint at Springer Residential College. Officers and the building coordinator were notified. The person was gone upon arrival.

Nov. 8

3:08 p.m. A caller reported a vehicle on the intramural field. Officers were notified and a traffic stop was conducted. The driver reported a medical emergency that had not been reported to Public Safety. Officers conducted a check of persons and Student Affairs was notified. A medical report was taken.

9:08 p.m. A strong odor of bug spray was reported at Richmond Residential College. Officers, Murray State Environmental Safety & Health, the Murray Fire Department and Murray Ambulance Services were notified. The room was ventilated by Murray Fire Department. An information report was taken.

Nov. 9

1:14 p.m. A medical emergency at Blackburn Science Building was reported. Officers, Murray Ambulance Service and Student Affairs were notified. The patient was transported by Murray Ambulance Service.

4:20 p.m. A caller reported the smell of marijuana at White Residential College. Officers were notified and an information report was taken.

Nov. 10

1:33 a.m. A caller reported a smoke alarm activation at Hart Residential College. Officers and Central Heating & Cooling were notified. The alarm was caused by a mechanical malfunction.

5:37 p.m. A medical emergency was reported at Wells Hall. Officers and Murray Ambulance Service were notified. The patient was transported  by Murray Ambulance.

Nov. 11

12:20 a.m. Public Safety was notified of fire alarm activation at Hester Residential College. The alarm was due to a hair straightener. An information report was taken.

12:53 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop on Kentucky Avenue. The driver received a written warning for disregarding a stop sign.

3:52 p.m. – An escaped sheep was reported by a caller at the Expo Center. Officers and the farm manager were notified. The sheep was gone upon arrival.
