Zeke Pike, a transfer from the University of Louisville, was released from the Murray State football team this week for being arrested and on a violation of team rules according to Head Coach Mitch Stewart.

Pike was announced as a transfer from the University of Louisville and previously Auburn where he was a five-star recruit at quarterback for the Tigers.

“Right now basically it is more important for Zeke Pike to take care of Zeke Pike rather than worry about football related items and give him the option to work on that,” Stewart said. “He can now step away and take care of himself without worrying about football.”
