The volleyball team pulled out two victories after trailing on back-to-back nights.
Senior libero Katlyn Hudson made her return to the lineup when the Racers traveled to Southeast Missouri Friday for the first of two weekend road games.
After narrowly losing the first set, Murray State dominated the second set to tie the match.
A loss left the team facing defeat in the match, but they were able to edge out a fourth-set win to stay alive.
In the deciding final set, the Racers took the early lead and were able to hold on to win the come-from-behind victory.
Less than 24 hours later, the team experienced the same sort of match as they earned their second consecutive OVC victory when they traveled to UT Martin.
After dominating the first set, the Racers let two leads slip away and lost the second by two points.
Like the previous night, Murray State was on the edge of defeat after losing the third set. Again, like the last match, it pulled through the final two sets to come out on top.
The two wins bring the Racers’ record above .500 at 15-13, and its conference record to 5-9. This marks the most wins for the team since 2010.
The team plays its final home match of the season Tuesday against an Austin Peay team that beat them 3-2 earlier this season.
