Women’s soccer falls to Southeast Missouri

The Murray State women’s soccer team’s first game of the weekend ended in defeat on Friday night as the Racers fell to Southeast Missouri 6-0 in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Veronika Pribyslavska led the Racers (3-6, 1-1 OVC) with five shots. Pribyslavska, along with Megg Hudson both had two shots on goal apiece to lead MSU. Yi Du recorded three saves to lead the Racers in the loss. Du played the second half of the contest.

Torey Byrd recorded two goals for the Redhawks (2-6-3, 1-0-1 OVC). Courtney and Paige Luehmann both recorded a pair of assists in the match for SEMO.

Murray State finishes its weekend road trip at UT Martin on Sunday afternoon.
