Oct. 19

11:34 a.m. A caller reported a motor vehicle collision with no injuries in the Curris Center parking lot. Officers were notified and a collision report was taken.

2:44 p.m. A caller reported the smell of natural gas in Price Doyle Fine Arts Building. Officers, the Murray Fire Department, Murray Natural Gas and the Central Heating and Cooling Plant were notified. No natural gas was detected.

Oct. 20

12:47 p.m. A caller reported a medical emergency at Carr Health Building. Officers and Murray Ambulance Service were notified. Patient refused transport and a medical report was taken.

11:38 p.m. A caller requested an escort to a residential college from the Carr Health Building. Racer Patrol was notified.

Oct. 21

11:17 a.m. A caller reported locating counterfeit currency at the Curris Center. Officers were notified and took custody of the currency.

10:56 p.m. A caller reported an intoxicated person in the White Residential College parking lot. Officers were notified.

Oct. 22

2:56 p.m. A person reported a sexual assault that occurred off campus. Officers and the Murray Police Department were notified.

5:59 p.m. The Murray Police Department requested assistance for a motor vehicle collision with no injuries at the intersection of 16th Street and Main Street. Officers were notified and a collision report was taken.

Oct. 23

11:02 a.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop in front of Pogue Library. A citation was issued for expired registration plate and receipt and failure to notify the Department of Transportation of address change.

4:35 p.m. An officer reported a Murray State policy violation. People were requested to leave Murray State property.

Oct. 24

10:52 a.m. Public Safety received a smoke detector activation on the alarm center computer from White Residential College. Officers and Facilities Management were notified. Activation was because of steam from a shower and no threat of fire was located.

2:05 p.m.  An officer conducted a traffic stop on Regents Drive. The Driver was served a warrant of arrest for non-payment of fines.

Oct. 25

3:28 p.m. Public Safety received information from the office of Institutional Diversity, Equity and Access in reference to a harassment complaint. Officers were notified.

3:51 p.m. Public Safety received a fire alarm activation at the CFSB Center from the alarm center computer. Officers, Murray Fire Department and the Central Heating and Cooling Plant were notified. The alarm was caused by a mechanical malfunction.
