April 6

10:13 a.m. Public Safety received a General Incident Reporting Form from the Housing Office in reference to a harassment reported to the Office of Institutional Diversity, Equality and Access. Officers were notified.

7:41 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop on Regents Residential College parking lot. A written warning was issued for improper use of a dealer plate and failure to illuminate headlamps.

April 7

3:51 a.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop in the White Residential College parking lot. A written warning was issued for disregarding a stop sign.

7:50 a.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop in the Regents Residential College parking lot. A citation was issued for failure to wear a seatbelt.

April 8

12:58 a.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop at Five Points at the Five Star Gas Station. The driver was arrested for driving under the influence.

8:04 a.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop in the Alexander Hall parking lot. A verbal warning was issued for failure to wear a seatbelt.

April 9

11:53 a.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop on Olive Street. A citation was issued for failure to wear a seatbelt.

7:28 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop at the Five Star Gas Station at Five Points. A citation was issued for failure to wear a seatbelt.

April 10

3:29 a.m. A caller requested a check of a vehicle at Pullen Farm. Officers were notified. Officers requested persons to leave because the facility was closed.

4:07 a.m. The Murray Police Department reported a noise complaint in the Five Points area parking lot. Officers were notified.

April 11

1:01 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop on Poplar Street at Oakhurst. A citation was issued for failure to wear a seatbelt.

6:31 p.m. A caller reported the smell of something burning and the loss of power at Hart Residential College. Officers, Murray Fire Department and Central Heating and Cooling were notified. The cause was determined to be a mechanical malfunction that tripped the breaker and there was no threat of fire. A report was taken.

April 12

9:04 a.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop in the James H. Richmond Residential College parking lot. A warning was given for speeding.

8:45 p.m. Public Safety received a General Incident Reporting Form in reference to a theft in Elizabeth Residential College. Officers were notified and a report was taken for theft by unlawful taking under $500.
