March 23

12:08 p.m. A caller reported damage to their vehicle in the CFSB Center parking lot. Officers were notified and a report was taken.

5:29 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop on Gilbert Graves Drive for speeding. A verbal warning was given.

March 24

3:10 p.m. A person required a vehicle check in the James H. Richmond Residential College parking lot. Officers and vehicle owner were notified.

3:51 p.m. A caller requested a room unlock in College Courts. The on-call residence director was notified.

March 25

12:43 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop on Gilbert Graves Drive.  A citation was issued for failure to wear a seatbelt.

1:53 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop near the Five Star Marathon Gas Station for failure to wear a seatbelt. A citation was issued and a verbal warning was given for failure to have a driver’s license in possession.

March 26

7:32 a.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop at the corner of Payne and White Residential College. A citation was issued for expired registration plates, no registration receipt and failure to wear a seatbelt.

1:25 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop for failure to wear a seatbelt at Ryan Avenue and North 16th Street. A citation was issued.

March 27

4:17 p.m. The Murray Police Department reported a medical emergency in 1100 Block College Courts. Public Safety, Student Affairs and Murray Ambulance Service were notified.

5:10 p.m. A caller requested a vehicle unlock in the Franklin Residential College parking lot. Officers were notified.

March 28

8:52 a.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop near Campus Cuts on Olive Street. A citation as issued for failure to wear a seatbelt, failure for non-owner to maintain required insurance and no operator/moped license in possession.

10:52 a.m. A caller reported a theft of property in the Business Building. Officers were notified and a report was taken for burglary, third degree.

March 29

12:09 a.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop at Waldrop Drive and Valentine Avenue. A citation was issued for speeding 14 mph over the speed limit, expired registration, no registration receipt and failure to produce an insurance card.

7:34 p.m. A caller reported being stuck on an elevator in White Residential College. Public Safety and Central Heating and Cooling were notified. The person was able to get out of the elevator prior to officer’s arrival.
