Feb. 10

8:30 a.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop at the Howton Agricultural Engineering Building. A citation was issued for failure to wear a seatbelt, failure to have a driver’s license in possession and disregarding a stop sign.

8:57 a.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop near Lee Clark Residential College. A citation was issued for speeding 25 mph over the speed limit, failure to wear a seatbelt and careless driving.

Feb. 11

1:51 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop at North 16th Street at the BP gas station. The passenger was arrested and a citation was issued for failure to appear in court and trafficking marijuana under 8 ounces.

2:55 p.m. A caller reported two stray dogs near Stanley Pullen Farm. Public Safety was notified.

Feb. 12

7:18 p.m. Public Safety received a parking complaint near Hester Residential College via the LiveSafe app. A parking citation was issued.

10:56 p.m. A caller reported a fire in the construction area of New Franklin Residential College. Public Safety, Murray Fire Department and Central Heating and Cooling were notified. No actual threat of fire was located.

Feb. 13

1:52 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop on Gilbert Graves Drive. A citation was issued for failure to wear a seatbelt, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

11:05 p.m. A caller reported a harassment complaint at White Residential College. Public Safety was notified and a report was taken.

Feb. 14

12:21 a.m. A caller reported a medical emergency at Hester Residential College. Public Safety, Murray Ambulance Service and Student Affairs were notified. The patient was transported to Murray-Calloway County Hospital.

11:08 a.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop in the Roy Stewart Stadium parking lot and a verbal warning was issued for reckless driving.

Feb. 15

11:26 a.m. A caller reported an animal complaint on Kentucky Avenue. Public Safety was notified.

6:22 p.m. A caller reported persons shooting off fireworks at White Residential College. Public Safety was notified.

Feb. 16

11:25 p.m. A caller reported a verbal altercation at James H. Richmond Residential College. Public Safety was notified and an information report was taken.

11:52 p.m. A caller reported the smell of marijuana at Elizabeth Residential College. Public Safety was notified and a citation was issued for possession of marijuana.
