Nov. 26

1:40 a.m.  A fire alarm activation notice at Faculty Hall was received by Public Safety and Emergency Management. Officers, Murray Fire Department and Central Heating and Cooling were notified. The alarm was caused by a power failure of a sprinkler pump.

11:12 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop at Doran Road. A verbal warning was issued for disregarding a stop sign.

Nov. 27

12:07 a.m. Public Safety received a notification of a fire alarm at the General Services Building. Central Heating and Cooling were notified.

4:12 a.m. A fire alarm activation notice at the Price Doyle Fine Arts Building.  Central Heating and Cooling were notified.

Nov. 28

9:09 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop on 17th Street for failure to illuminate headlights. A verbal warning was issued.

10:48 p.m. Racer Patrol discovered lost property. The property was turned in to Public Safety.

Nov. 29

10:28 p.m. The Murray Police Department reported a sighting of smoke or steam coming from the roof of the General Services Building. The cause was steam from vents on the roof. No threat of fire was located.

11:58 p.m. Officers conducted parking enforcement in the residential college circle parking lot. Two parking citations were issued.

Nov. 30

12:21 a.m. A caller reported a noise complaint at Springer Residential College to Public Safety. An information report was taken.

12:54 p.m. An officer reported a parking complaint due to a vehicle blocking the drive of Wells Hall. The owner was notified to move the vehicle and a parking citation was issued.

Dec. 1

9:32 a.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop at James H. Richmond Residential College. A written warning was issued for speeding.

8:08 p.m. A caller reported a motor vehicle collision in the parking lot of James H. Richmond Residential College. Officers were notified and no report was taken or requested. No injuries were reported.

Dec. 2

4:21 p.m. A caller reported a motor vehicle collision in the Main Street parking lot. Officers were notified and a report was taken. No injuries were reported.

5:37 p.m. The Murray Police Department reported a medical emergency at the Wellness Center. Murray Ambulance Service, Murray Fire Department and Student Affairs were notified. The patient was transported to Murray-Calloway County Hospital.

Dec. 1, 11:08 a.m. A caller reported a kitten stuck in the engine of a vehicle at Winslow Dining Hall. Officers were notified.
