Bateman Case team earns honorable mention

Six Murray State students entered the Bateman Case Study Competition for the first time as a part of PRSSA’s premier national case study competition. The group placed in the top 20 PR teams in the country with their project.

Tim Vance, adviser to the Bateman Case team, led PRSSA members Allyson Putman, Brandon Orr, Gretchen Green, Erin Behbehani, Katelyn Henson and Zenena Moguel.

The goals of the 2013 Bateman Case Study Competition goals are to increase awareness among children, teens, parents and other key audiences of the serious short- and long-term consequences of youth bullying and inform audiences of the steps they can take to help prevent and report bullying.

Other universities receiving honorable mention were: Central Washington University, Delaware State University, University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa, University of Florida, and Utah Valley University as well as nine other schools.
