The 10th-ranked Murray State rifle team has a big weekend ahead of them as the Racers will host an NCAA qualifier on Saturday at the Pat Spurgin Rifle Range.
Saturday will be the Racers’ final opportunity to qualify for the NCAA Championships in March in Columbus, Ohio.
Schools from across the OVC will be traveling to Murray this weekend in hopes of getting a high enough aggregate score to qualify them for the championships. The top eight teams will make it to the NCAA’s and right now the Racers sit with the 10th-best score at an average of 4637.
The Racers are coming off a 4700-4628 defeat to No. 1 West Virginia last weekend in the regular season finale.
