A dedication of the Arthur J. Bauernfeind College of Business at Murray State will be held during Homecoming Weekend on Friday, Oct. 12.
A reception is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. in the main lobby area of the Business Building, followed by the dedication at 2:30 p.m. in front of the main entrance to the building. Everyone is invited to attend both events.
This naming honors a Distinguished Alumnus of the University and one of its supporters. Arthur J. Bauernfeind, an investment and portfolio manager, is the largest single donor to the College of Business at Murray State and is among the top donors to the University.
His significant gifts to Murray State and the college include the establishment of the Arthur J. Bauernfeind Endowed Chair of Investment Management.
