Sigma Xi elects new president

Recently the Murray State chapter of Sigma Xi, a scientific research society, held their annual fall social at Murray State’s Faculty Club. The social is held in order to designate a president-elect and discuss plan ideas for the upcoming year. Tony Brannon, dean of the Hutson School of Agriculture, recently received the 2012 Outstanding Career and Technical Educator Award from the Kentucky Association for Career and Technical Education. Freshmen Paige Barker and Taylor Futrell are making sure the youngest class has a voice as class senators.
