The Murray Choral Society is holding auditions throughout the month of September in preparation for a holiday concert.
Rehearsals will be held on Murray State’s campus on Monday evenings from Oct. 1 to Dec. 1. Amy Aucoin, associate professor of music, will conduct the concert.
The Murray Choral Society is a new organization dedicated to the study and performance of choral music in the community. The vision of the Murray Choral Society is to foster singing as a life-long activity, provide a venue for developing musical abilities and build a greater sense of community through participation in choral performances.
Any singers over the age of 15 are invited to join, in addition Murray State students who join will have the opportunity to participate for University credit.
