Huzzie named CFPA National Linebacker of the Week

Murray State linebacker Qua Huzzie had one of the best game of his career against Central Arkansas, and for his efforts, the junior was named the College Football Performance Awards National Linebacker of the Week.

Huzzie (LaGrange, Ga.) finished the game with a team-high nine tackles, including four tackles-for-loss, and his first career interception. The four TFL’s tied his career best set against Eastern Kentucky a season ago.

Through two games this season, Huzzie has 11 tackles, four tackles-for-loss and an interception. He ranks second in the OVC, and 13th nationally, in tackles-for-loss.
