Residential College Association 4.30.12

Residential College Association (RCA) met for the last time for the semester Monday evening as President Jonah Waggoner closed the meeting by swearing in new members of the executive board.

While attendance was poor for the final meeting of the school year, the elections for president, vice president and secretary/treasury went forward as scheduled.

Graduating senior Dustin Rediess, who is returning for his master’s degree in telecommunications and systems management, was elected president of RCA after spending the past three years in the group.

Junior Alex Bibelhauser-Hiemer, from Springer College, was elected to the chair of vice president, while junior Dakota Fields, from Franklin College, was tabbed to become the secretary/treasurer.

Starting at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Springer/Franklin will be holding their Freekee Teekee party in the lawn between the two buildings. Activities include a waterslide, a bungee run, a jousting arena and free food. Everyone is encouraged to attend.

As a treat to students preparing for finals, Winslow will hold its annual Midnight Breakfast starting at 9 p.m. this Sunday. Student ID is required to procure a meal.
