March 29

•1:58 p.m. A caller reported a person in the free speech zone getting close to students. The Murray State Police were notified.

•3:11 p.m. The Murray State Police issued a citation to Lacey Ellis, sophomore from Murray, for failure to maintain insurance and expired registration.

•3:17 p.m. A caller requested to speak with an officer about an emotionally disturbed person. The Murray State Police were notified.

 

March 30 

•8:26 a.m. The Murray Police Department took a report for third degree criminal mischief at the Sigma Sigma Sigma House. The Murray State Police were notified.

•3:21 p.m. The Murray Police Department requested assistance serving a warrant at White College. The Murray State Police were notified and took a report for possession of drug paraphernalia.

•9:21 p.m. A caller reported a vehicle playing loud music outside Waterfield Library. The Murray State Police were notified.

 

March 31

•1:11 a.m. The Murray State Police issued a citation to Blake Rutherford, freshman from?Fancy Farm, Ky., for possession of alcohol by a minor and open alcoholic beverage in public.

•3:36 a.m. A caller reported a medical emergency at Hart College. The Murray State Police and ambulance service were notified.

•12:53 p.m. A caller requested access to Ordway Hall. The Murray State Police were notified.

 

April 1

12:24 a.m. A Murray State Police officer reported a medical emergency in the Curris Center. An ambulance service was notified.

1:20 p.m. A caller reported they locked their keys in a vehicle at Hart College. The Murray State Police were notified.

9:23 p.m. A caller requested a welfare check on a student in Old Richmond College. The Murray State Police were notified and found that everything appeared normal.

 

April 2 

•7:02 a.m. A caller reported a smoking ceiling light in Wells Hall. The Murray State Police, the Murray Fire Department and state fire marshal were notified.

•10:02 a.m. A caller reported chalk graffiti on the side of Lovett Auditorium. The Murray State Police and Facilities Management were notified.

•5:41 p.m. A burglary alarm was received in Winslow Cafeteria. The Murray State Police were notified and checked the area. Everything appeared normal. An officer took an information report.

 

April 3

2:06 p.m. A caller reported a non-injury accident at the 16th and Upper streets parking lot. The Murray State Police were notified an took an information report.

4:31 p.m. A caller reported a hit and run accident in the 15th and Olive streets parking lot. The Murray State Police were notified and advised the caller he could pick up a self accident report if needed. An officer took an information report.

6:44 p.m. A caller requested an officer to unlock recruitment/tornado shelter area. The Murray State Police were notified and took an information report.

 

April 4

•1:45 a.m. A caller reported they were stuck on the elevator at Regents College. The Murray State Police and Central Plant were notified.

•2:38 p.m. A caller reported an illegally parked vehicle at the Alexander Hall parking lot. A Murray State ticket writer was notified.

•3:27 p.m. The Murray State Police were notified of a panic alarm activation near Sparks Hall. The Murray State Police were notified and determined the cause to be an accidental activation.
