Feb. 16

•7:38 a.m. An officer issued a verbal warning to a driver for failure to yield to a pedestrian at a crosswalk on 16th Street.

•10:34 a.m. A caller reported a medical emergency at Roy Stewart Stadium roundabout. An officer and Murray EMS were notified.

•7:55 p.m. Racer Patrol reported an unlocked door at the Crisp?Soccer Complex. An officer and Building Coordinator were notified and the building was secured.

 

Feb. 17

•8 a.m. An officer received an accidental activation of 911. The caller reported she was trying to dial off campus. The officer checked the area and everything appeared normal.

•4:33 p.m. A caller reported finding possible drug paraphernalia in College Courts. An officer was notified and took a report for possession and possession of drug paraphernalia and use of marijuana.

•7:36 p.m. Racer Patrol reported an unsecured door in the Business Building. An officer and Building Coordinator were notified and checked and secured the building.

 

Feb. 18

•12:28 a.m. The Murray State police reported a trailer without working lights or a tag. An officer spoke with the owner.

•10:54 a.m. A caller requested welfare check on an individual. The person was not a student and a Murray State Police officer spoke to the juvenile’s parents.

•3:52 p.m. A caller reported a possible impaired driver at College Courts. An officer was notified and took an information report.

 

Feb. 19

•3:36 p.m. A caller reported possible drug paraphernalia in a room in College Courts. The Murray State Police were notified and took a report for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

•8:47 p.m. Racer Patrol reported a vehicle driving recklessly in the Roy Stewart Stadium parking lot. Murray State Police were notified. The people were gone upon the officer’s arrival.

•8:59 p.m. A caller requested an officer to check the possible odor of marijuana at Regents College. The Murray State Police were notified and everything appeared normal.

 

Feb. 20

•1:51 a.m. A caller reported a possible fight with no weapons at Franklin?College. A Murray State Police officer spoke to the people involved and reported they were playing.

•1:12 p.m. A caller reported a person being harassed at Faculty Hall. The Murray State Police were notified and an officer took an information report.

•4:40 p.m. A caller reported her car was hit in the Winslow Cafeteria parking lot over the weekend. The Murray State Police took a collision report.

 

Feb. 21

•4:19 a.m. The Murray State Police issued a verbal warning for not obeying a traffic control device on 121 North Bypass and 12th Street.

•2:42 p.m. A caller reported identity theft. An officer was notified and the caller was referred to another jurisdiction.

•8:07 p.m. The Murray State Police officer checked a suspicious vehicle at West Farm. Everything appeared to be normal.

Feb. 22 

•12:49 a.m. A caller reported an illegally parked vehicle at Hester College. An officer was notified and the vehicle was moved.

•10:14 a.m. A caller reported damage to a vehicle. An officer was notified and took an accident report.

•2:49 p.m. A caller reported found stolen property. An officer was notified and took a report for receiving stolen property.
