Feb. 2

•12:33 a.m. The Murray State Police issued a citation to Hussien Zaidan, freshman from McKenzie, Tenn., for expired plates and no insurance at College Courts.

•12:09 p.m. The Murray State Police served a summons to Kevin Hargis, sophomore from Dover, Tenn., for receiving stolen property less than $500.

•4:46 p.m. A caller reported juveniles skateboarding at Price Doyle Fine Arts Building. The Murray State Police were notified. The juveniles were gone prior to the officer’s arrival.

 

Feb. 3

•12:34 a.m. A caller reported an intoxicated person in the 16th Street lower parking lot. The Murray State Police were notified and took a report for alcohol intoxication in public.

•10:07 p.m. A Murray State Police officer reported a stopped vehicle on Payne Street. The driver was looking for a building on campus and was escorted by the officer.

•3:56 p.m. A caller reported a non-injury collision in the Regents College parking lot. The Murray State Police were notified.

 

Feb. 4

•8:35 a.m. A caller reported possible vandalism to West Farm. The Murray State Police were notified.

•5:06 p.m. A caller reported a vehicle lockout at the CFSB Center. The Murray State Police were notified.

•8:25 p.m. A caller reported a motorcycle running at Regents College with no one around it. The Murray State Police were notified.

 

Feb. 5

•12:40 a.m. The Murray State Police issued a citation to Joshua Culp, sophomore from Paducah, Ky., for possession of alcohol by a minor.

•1:51 a.m. A caller reported a large group of people causing a disturbance at Hart College. The Murray State Police were notified and spoke with the group.

•9:30 p.m. A caller reported harassment at Hester College. The Murray State Police were notified and took a report for harassing communications.

 

Feb. 6

•8:50 a.m. A caller reported the elevator was stuck in Blackburn Science Building with two people on board. The Murray State Police and Facilities Management were notified.

•10:33 a.m. A caller reported they witnessed a vehicle back into another vehicle and leave at 15th and Olive streets parking lot. The Murray State Police were notified.

•2:57 p.m. A caller reported illegally parked vehicles at College Courts. The Murray State Police and a Racer Patrol ticket writer were notified.

 

Feb. 7 

•1:14 a.m. A caller reported the smell of marijuana in Franklin College. The Murray State Police were notified.

•12:17 p.m. The Murray State Police arrested John Paul Carpenter, non-student from Murray, on a warrant to failure to appear in court.

•12:49 p.m. A caller reported vandalism to a bicycle at the Industry and Technology Building. The Murray State Police were notified and took a report for third degree criminal mischief.

 

Feb. 8

•2:12 p.m. A parking staff requested an escort to the Public Safety office from the Applied Sciences Building. The Murray State Police were notified and took an information report.

•3:29 p.m. A caller reported theft of property at the?Curris Center. The Murray State Police were notified and took a report for theft by unlawful taking under $500.

•7:43 p.m. A caller requested an escort to the biology building. Racer Patrol was notified and The Murray State Police took an information report.
