Jan. 26

•11:26 a.m. An officer issued a verbal warning for expired registration on Payne Street.

•12:01 p.m. A Murray State Police officer issued a verbal warning for disregarding a stop sign in Residential College Circle.

•3:24 p.m. A caller reported criminal mischief in Carr Health. The Murray State Police were notified.

 

Jan. 27

•10:13 a.m. A caller reported a possible deceased individual in College Courts. An officer and Calloway County Coroner were notified. The individual was deceased prior to the officer’s arrival. Preliminary findings by the Calloway County Coroner’s office indicate no foul play.

•3:13 p.m. A caller reported possible vandalism in Old Richmond College. An officer was notified and took an information report.

•8:54 p.m. A caller reported a burned candle in Lee Clark College. The Murray Fire Department, an officer and State Fire Marshal were notified.

 

Jan. 28

•12:43 a.m. A caller reported being harassed at Campus Core. The Murray State Police were notified and took a report.

•2:37 a.m. The Murray State Police reported an alcohol violation in Regents College. Housing was notified and an officer reported a possession of alcohol by a minor.

•11:13 p.m. The Murray State Police issued a verbal warning for disregarding a stop sign and careless driving at Highway 121 Bypass North.

 

Jan. 29

•5:50 p.m. A caller reported finding possible drug paraphernalia in Lee Clark College. The Murray State Police were notified.

•5:51 p.m. A caller reported a parking complaint at Lee Clark College. The Murray State Police were notified.

•8:06 p.m. Racer Patrol reported an unsecured door in the Crisp Soccer Complex. The Murray State Police and building coordinator were notified and the building was secured.

 

Jan. 30

•1:30 p.m. A caller reported a smell of marijuana in Franklin College. The Murray State Police were notified, but no odor was detected.

•6:22 p.m. A caller reported a theft of property in Hart College. The Murray State Police were notified and took a report for second degree burglary in connection with a previous incident.

•9:39 p.m. The Murray State Police reported an unsecured vehicle in College Courts. The officer made contact with the owner and it was secured.

 

Jan. 31

•12:14 a.m. A caller reported a person refused to leave Hart College. The Murray State Police were notified and the officer spoke with the individual.

•11:34 a.m. The Murray State Police officer served a follow up at Hester College. David Matthew Wilson, freshman from Florissant, Mo., was arrested and charged with first degree wanton endangerment.

•9:05 p.m. A caller reported theft of property in the Curris Center. The?Murray State Police were notified and took a report for theft by unlawful taking more than $500.

 

Feb. 1

•2:17 p.m. A caller reported a theft of property in Howton Agricultural Building. The Murray State Police were notified.

•8:36 p.m. A?caller reported a suspicious person walking on 16th Street. The Murray State Police were notified.

•10:46 p.m. A caller reported hearing a female screaming near the New Fine Arts Building. The Murray State Police were notified and checked the area. Everything appeared normal and the officer took a report.
