Nov. 14 is the last day to drop/audit classes at Murray State University. Contact the Bursar’s Office for more information.

Needline, located by the Shell gas station on Fourth Street, needs help to set up for Thanksgiving. Volunteers can work from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The Student Government Association wants feedback from student organizations regarding extra money being provided by the City of Murray for new sidewalks around the county.

Contact Black Student Council secretary Sidney Anderson at sanderson20@murraystate.edu or Don Robertson at drobertson@murraystate.edu with any and all suggestions as to where these sidewalks should be located.

Robertson urged BSC members to stay informed of the new university library project. He said it was possible the students could end up with the final decision on whether or not a student fee is used to fund the construction.

Robertson discussed the new use for Waterfield library, which will become a one-stop student affairs building once the new library was completed.

Community service hours can be met on Nov. 19 from 2-5 p.m. at Spring Creek Nursing Home in Murray. Volunteers will be charged with visiting patients and assisting with a small musical being held on premises.

On Dec. 1, BSC will hold their pre-finals mixer from 5-8 p.m. in the Curris Center Small Ballroom. All are encouraged to attend.

On Nov. 14, International Student Organization will be holding a date auction at 6 p.m. in the Curris Center Stables.
