Oct. 27

•7:37 a.m. A caller reported a suspicious person near Springer?College. The Murray State Police were notified.

•9:13 a.m. A caller reported they fell inside Faculty Hall. The caller refused medical response. The Murray State Police and Facilities Management were notified.

•4:18 p.m. The Murray State Police issued a verbal warning outside of the Baptist Campus Ministries Building for improper passing.

 

Oct. 28

•2:16 a.m. A caller reported an intoxicated person in Hart College. The Murray State Police were notified and took a medical report.

•5:21 p.m. Calloway County Sheriff’s Office requested assistance with traffic control for an escort. The Murray State Police were notified.

•7:30 p.m. A caller reported a field light on fire at Roy Stewart Stadium. The Murray State Police, Murray Fire Department, Central Plant and state fire marshal were notified.

 

Oct. 29

•12:01 a.m. Racer Patrol reported a person throwing trash from the third floor of Hester College. The Murray State Police and housing were notified.

•2:19 p.m. UT-Martin Police reported an injury of a Murray State student on their campus. The Murray State Police and Student Affairs were notified.

•5:43 p.m. A caller reported a cat in a room in Regents College. The Murray State Police and housing were notified.

 

Oct. 30

•8:09 p.m. An officer reported a vehicle parked in the fire lane of New Richmond College. An officer was notified and the vehicle was moved.

•9:33 p.m. A caller requested to speak with an officer in reference to a harassment. An officer was notified and took a report for fourth degree assault.

•10:52 p.m. The residential director at Hart College reported she found a burn mark on a bulletin board on the seventh floor. An officer was notified and took a report for first degree arson.

 

Oct. 31

•2 p.m. A caller reported they were hit by a water balloon from a fifth floor window of Faculty Hall. An officer was notified.

•3:31 p.m. A caller reported two people flickering lights in the lobby of Franklin College. An officer, the Murray Fire Department and the state fire marshal were notified and the individuals were gone upon arrival.

•6:02 p.m. The Murray Police Department requested an officer to work a non-injury motor vehicle accident. An officer was notified.

 

Nov. 1

•2:41 p.m. A caller reported an animal left in a vehicle in the Kentucky/Calloway South Lot. An officer was notified and checked the area. Everything appeared normal.

•9:34 p.m. A caller reported a smell of propane near the front door of Franklin College. An officer, Central Plant, Murray Fire Department and state fire marshal’s office were notified.

•10:21 p.m. A caller reported hearing either screeching tires or someone screaming coming from around the Curris Center. The Murray State Police was notified and took an information report.

 

Nov. 2

•12:33 a.m. A caller reported the smell of marijuana in New Clark College. An officer was notified and no odor was detected upon officer’s arrival.

•12:50 a.m. A caller reported being assaulted in Regents College. An officer was notified and took a report for fourth degree assault.

•6:19 p.m. A caller reported vandalism of a bicycle outside of White College. An officer was notified and took a report for theft by unlawful taking less than $500 and for criminal mischief.
