Alliance hosts semiannual drag show

Two spotlights highlighted the performers at the 2011 Fall Drag Show: Glamour Thursday night.

In two-and-a-half hours, more than 25 performers danced and lip-synced, wearing stage costumes. More than 300 guests attended the event in the Curris Center Ballroom.

The semiannual drag show hosted by Murray State’s Alliance is held to sponsor LGBT events on campus and to raise awareness. The event raised $1,354.

Performers included Christopher Adams, Kara Belle,  Evyonne Devaroe, Trey Rawlings, Will-A-Mean Dior,  Saphire Dior, Chase M. Down,  Bea Hyve, Leimomi, MC DK, Gypsy Red, Jody Shalane and background talent.
