CANTON, Ky. — A bridge that carries traffic across Lake Barkley in the Land Between the Lakes region will have traffic restrictions for nearly two weeks of repairs.
A maximum width of 8.5 feet will be in effect from Oct. 25-Nov.4 on the US 68 bridge between Canton and LBL and traffic will be reduced to one lane and controlled by traffic signals.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet said in a news release last week that trucks and other wide vehicles are being detoured on Interstate 24.
Transportation officials expect the delays to be around 5 minutes when the deck and superstructure work is under way.
