Alliance held their weekly meeting at 7 p.m. this evening in the Curris Center.

Alliance members rescheduled the safer sex table scheduled for Oct. 27 in the Curris Center to an informational Alliance table at the same location due to lack of condoms. Alliance information will be handed out at the table.

Artist Ben Reinhart will showcase how his sexual orientation influences his art at 6 p.m. on Oct. 24 in room 623 in the Fine Arts building.

Alliance is also participating in a workday where they clean the streets of Calloway County. Each member participating will earn 6 dollars a person an hour. The money will help the Alliance pay for various activities they put on throughout the semester.

Rebate night for Alliance will be from 4 p.m. to close on Dec. 7 at The Apple.

Will Hansen, Murray State alumnus and executive director of the United States Congress Joint Economic Committee will speak at 7:30 to 9 p.m. on Oct. 30 in the New Richmond south commons room.

The meeting closed with discussion of Alliance’s largest fundraiser, the annual drag show. Glamour will be held on Nov. 3 in the large ballroom in the Curris Center. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and the show begins at 7 p.m.

William Heath, president of Alliance said he hopes everyone will come out to a great time and an awesome show.
