Sept. 27

  • 4:28 p.m. There was an accidental activation of a burglary alarm at the Clara M. Eagle Gallery. The Murray State Police were notified.
  • 9:50 p.m. A caller reported a smoking ashtray outside of Franklin?College. An officer, the Murray Fire Department and state fire marshal were notified. The ashtray was extinguished upon arrival.

Sept. 28

  • 2:01 p.m. A caller reported a medical emergency in Hart College. The Murray State Police and Murray Calloway County Ambulance were notified. The patient was transported to the hospital by Emergency Medical Services.
  • 7:31 p.m. A caller requested a report on a stolen cell phone in the Chemistry Building. A report was taken for theft by unlawful taking for less than $500.

Sept. 29

  • 3:44 p.m. Public Safety received a report of burned cigarettes and ashes found in an apartment in College Courts. An officer, Murray Fire Department and state fire marshal were notified.
  • 7:35 p.m. A caller reported an alcohol complaint in Hester College. An officer was notified and a report for alcohol possession by a minor was taken.

Sept. 30

  • 2:32 a.m. A caller reported a student entered her room while she was sleeping in White College. An officer was notified and a report was taken for burglary of the second degree and sexual abuse of the third degree.
  • 5:50 p.m. A caller reported teenagers sitting on the stairwell ledge of the New Fine Arts Building. An officer was notified and an information report was taken.

Oct. 1

  • 9:21 p.m. A fire alarm was activated in Faculty Hall. An officer, the Murray Fire Department, Central Plant and state fire marshal were notified and a fire report was taken.
  • 9:45 p.m. A caller reported someone keyed his vehicle at White College. An officer was notified and took a report for criminal mischief of the third degree.

Oct. 2

  •  1:14 a.m. A caller reported a possible smell of marijuana in Hart?College. An officer was notified and determined the cause to be someone burning leaves.
  • 6:37 p.m. A caller reported someone stole her laundry in Regents College. An officer was notified and took a report for theft by unlawful taking less than $500.

Oct. 3

  •  10:34 a.m. A student reported his motorcycle had been damaged while he was parked in the 16th and Upper streets parking lot. A report was taken for criminal mischief of the third degree by an officer.
  • 2:29 p.m. A caller requested an officer to check on possible counterfeit money at the Curris?Center Post Office. The officer determined the money was not counterfeit.

Oct. 4

  •  4:08 p.m. A caller reported a theft from a vehicle. An officer was notified and the person was referred to the Murray Police Department because the incident occurred off campus.
  • 5:26 p.m. A fire alarm was activated in Hart College as a result of overcooked food. An officer, Murray Fire Department and state fire marshal were notified. A fire report was taken.

Oct. 5

  •  7:56 a.m. An officer took a report concerning a student attempting to steal food from Winslow Cafeteria.
  • 1:15 p.m. A caller reported theft of a property at Public Safety. The Murray?State Police were notified and referred the individual to the Murray Police Department.

  • Sept. 28 11:29 a.m. A caller reported a person throwing water balloons out of a window at Faculty Hall. The Murray State Police were notified and the individual was gone upon arrival.
