Sept. 22

  • 12:27 a.m. A caller reported an employee had fallen in Lovett Auditorium. The individual was not injured, the Murray State Police were notified and an information report was taken.
  • 4:45 a.m. A caller reported they were stuck on an elevator in Regents College. The?Murray State Police and Central Plant were notified. The occupants were off the elevator upon the officer’s arrival.
  • 10:29 a.m. A person reported they were stuck in an elevator in the New Biology Building. The Murray State Police and Facilities Management were notified.
  • 11:49 a.m. A caller reported a medical emergency at Springer College. The Murray State Police and Murray Calloway County Ambulance were notified and an officer took a medical report.

Sept. 23

  • 8:25 a.m. A caller reported burned papers in a hallway at Hart College. The Murray State Police, Murray Fire Department and state fire marshal were notified and a fire report was taken.
  • 11:49 a.m. A caller reported they had located their bicycle at the Lowry Center that had been stolen. The Murray State Police were notified and took a report for theft and recovery of a bicycle.
  • 1:09 p.m. A caller reported finding a firearm at College Courts. The Murray State Police were notified and the officer found the item was a toy gun.
  • 6:50 p.m. A caller reported several students sitting on the railing of the New Fine Arts Building. The Murray State Police were notified and an officer took an information report.

Sept. 24

  • 12:20 a.m. The Murray State Police arrested Sarah Combs at the intramural fields, a post-baccalaureate student from Murray, Ky., for first degree driving under the influence.
  • 8:58 a.m. A caller reported a fight between two females in White College. The Murray State Police were notified and an information report was taken.
  • 3:55 p.m. A caller reported vandalism to a door at Hart College. The Murray State Police were notified and found no vandalism.
  • 9:54 p.m. An officer reported a fire alarm activation at Oakhurst. The Murray State Police, Murray Fire Department, Central Plant and state fire marshal were notified and determined the fire alarm to be mechanical malfunction.

Sept. 25 

  • 6:29 p.m. A caller reported a burned cigarette in the lobby of Hart College. The Murray State Police, Murray Fire Department and the state fire marshal were notified and took an informational report.
  • 9 p.m. A caller reported they found stolen property at Hart College. The Murray State Police were notified and a report for receiving stolen property less than $500 was taken.
  • 10:03 p.m. A caller reported a medical emergency at Hart College. The Murray State Police and Murray Calloway County were notified and the patient was transported to the hospital via Emergency Medical Services.
  • 11:06 p.m. Racer Patrol reported an unsecure door at Woods Hall. The Murray State Police were notified and the door was secured by an officer.

Sept. 26

  • 12:09 a.m. Racer Patrol reported an open door at Roy Stewart Stadium. The Murray State Police were notified and the officer secured the door.
  • 1:50 p.m. A person at the Public Safety requested to have a bicycle registered. The Murray State Police were notified.
  • 2:26 p.m. A caller reported a parking permit that had been stolen. The Murray State Police were notified and a report was taken for theft by unlawful taking less than $500.
  • 10:43 p.m. Racer Patrol reported there were fireworks being set off at Roy Stewart Stadium. The Murray State Police were notified and, upon arrival, everything appeared normal.

  • Sept. 24 6:58 p.m. A caller reported people throwing a football outside of Hart College and hitting vehicles. The Murray State Police were notified and an information report was taken.
