Last Friday, Lovett Auditorium was filled with peers, friends and family members of the 14 men competing for the title of Mr. MSU 2011. Hosted and sponsored by Alpha Omicron Pi, this annual fundraising event is organized to bring in money for its philanthropy, the National Arthritis Foundation. This year marked the 30th anniversary of Mr. MSU with the theme, “Dancing Through the Decades.” The contestants were nominated by organizations on campus and were required to participate in the formal attire, talent and interview rounds of the contests.
