Sept. 1

  •  1:27 a.m. A Murray State Police officer requested Central Plant to repair door locks to the roof door of Hester College. Central Plant was notified at 12:39 a.m.
  • 9:38 a.m. A caller reported an unsecure vehicle in the Regents College parking lot. The Murray State Police were notified and the vehicle was secured.
  • 5:24 p.m. A caller reported they were locked out of their apartment on the 100 block of College Courts. The on-call housing staff was notified.

Sept. 2

  •  12:06 a.m. An officer reported a vehicle parked and left inside the construction area of Elizabeth College. An information report was taken.
  • 1:57 a.m. A caller reported an intoxicated person outside of Richmond College. The Murray?State Police were notified and arrested Brandon R. Manworren, freshman from Westfield, Ind., for public alcohol intoxication.
  • 12:29 p.m. A caller requested an emergency message be sent to another student on campus. The Murray State Police were notified and relayed the message.

Sept. 3

  • 10:53 a.m. An officer reported a non-injury accident on North 12th Street and requested the Murray State Police take a report. An officer was notified and the collision report was taken.
  • 11:04 p.m. A Murray State Police officer reported a vehicle had leaked transmission fluid in the Stewart Stadium Parking Lot. Central Plant was notified for clean up at 11:06 p.m.
  • 11:19 p.m. A Murray State Police officer issued a verbal warning for disregarding a stop sign on 12th and Chestnut streets.

Sept. 4

  •  12:49 a.m. The Murray State Police issued a verbal warning for careless driving on the corner of Main and 14th streets.
  • 6:37 p.m. A caller reported two people on the roof of the Carr Health Building. The Murray State Police were notified and upon arriva, an information report was taken.
  • 8:24 p.m. A caller reported a theft of property at Hart College. The Murray State Police were notified and took a report for theft by unlawful taking more than $500.

Sept. 5

  • 12:06 a.m. Racer Patrol reported an unsecure door at Roy Stewart Stadium. The Murray State Police and building coordinator were notified and the door was secured.
  • 5:52 p.m. A caller reported the smell of marijuana coming from a room in White College. The Murray State Police were notified and an information report was taken.

Sept. 6

  • 2:41 p.m. A caller requested to speak with an officer about a theft in the Curris Center. The Murray State Police were notified and the person had left prior to the officer’s arrival.
  • 4:26 p.m. A caller reported she was stuck in an elevator in Hester College. An officer and Central Plant were notified. The occupant wa off prior to the officer’s arrival and Central Plant was notified to repair the elevator.
  • 6:15 p.m. A caller reported a gas leak on the northwest side of Winslow Cafeteria. The Murray State Police, the Murray Fire Department, Central Plant and the state fire marshal was notified and a fire report was taken.

Sept. 7

  •  8:25 a.m. A caller notified vandalism on the fourth floor of Hart?College. An officer were notified and took a report for criminal mischief of the first degree.
  • 1:20 p.m. A caller reported theft of property at the Susan E. Bauernfeind Wellness Center. An officer was notified and a report for theft by unlawful taking was taken.
  • 11:14 p.m. A caller reported a resident of Richmond College took property from the building after being told not to do so. An officer was notified and took a report.

  • 6:51 p.m. A caller reported two people kicking debris at vehicles in the Waldrop Street tennis parking lot. The Murray State Police were notified and an information report was taken.
